Golden Giveaway 2024 winners!

We held our annual Golden Giveaway at the Riverside Stadium on 13 June 2024, where twenty local organisations were granted donations of at least £500, with one lucky organisation receiving an impressive £5,000 as a result of a public vote.

The event was especially emotional for SNAPS Tees Valley, a support group for parents of children with additional needs, who topped the poll and won an incredible £5,000.

The children of Skeleton Primary School were over joyed when they were awarded their second-place prize of £2,500 which will be used to purchase new library books. Third in the poll was Billingham Tidy Up who received £2,000 to purchase additional litter picking equipment.

Teesside Academy of Gymnastics, a voluntary-run establishment, polled in fourth place and were awarded £1,750.

Elated with £1,500 were Socability Frame Football, The Bungalow Partnership and Nite Light CIC.

Amounts of £1,000 were awarded to Sea Cadets and Royal Marines Cadets Middlesbrough, Rubies Charity and Look Ahead Cancer Campaign. 37th Middlesbrough St. John’s Brownies, ReGenerate – Hope for Autism CIC, Stockton Baby Bank, Send Family Voice Redcar & Cleveland and Red Balloons were each awarded £750 during the ceremony.

Smaller but no less important amounts of £500 were awarded to Tees Valley Sound Tennis, Young At Heart ULO, Creative Minds, TEES Together.Engage.Encourage.Support CIO and Parkfield Lighthouse.
