Billingham and Stockton Borough Foodbank – Active Chartered Financial Planners

Karen Lofts of Patrons Active Chartered Financial Planners took up the opportunity to volunteer her time at Billingham and Stockton Borough Foodbank last week after connecting with the organisation through our volunteering portal.

She spent her day at the foodbank speaking with visitors, deciphering E-vouchers, packaging food parcels and providing general support all-round.

The staff at Billingham and Stockton Borough Foodbank were delighted with the support they received, with one of them claiming: “Karen was amazing! She picked up the tasks required immediately and was perfect backing for our Thursday front-of-house volunteers Marion and Barry Lennard.”
