Help us find more Patrons to fight for Teesside

Published on: 25th June 2018

Do you know any big-hearted Teesside companies or families that could help us reach the magic milestone of 50 Patrons to enable us to make the region we love a better, fairer place?
More companies than ever before are realising that by Fighting for Teesside Together, we can make a far greater impact than working alone to help the most disadvantaged groups and individuals.
The last eight months have seen us welcome no fewer than TEN new Patrons to our ranks, taking us up to 48 in total.
But that absolutely doesn’t mean we have too many or even enough. Together we’re a powerful force for good on Teesside – but we need to keep the momentum going for the good of those who most need our help.
Our newest Patrons are the good people from Crystal Galleries and Vitality Dental Care, who’ve followed hot on the heels of Anderson Barrowcliff, Sapere, Caswell Group, CJ Leonard, Archers Law,
Acklam Hall, Forman Vehicle Services and the Smith family.
While our Chairman-Founder Andy Preston admits he’s “walking on air” with the new influx of philanthropic power, he was keen to emphasise the important part played in those who’ve supported us from the start.
“We now have a grand total of 48 patrons – our highest number yet,” said Andy. “But we couldn’t have reached that number, of course, without the continued support of many Patrons who’ve backed us year after year and have again renewed their generous commitment for a further 12 months.
“With our supporter numbers climbing consistently, it’s clear that we’re reaching increasing numbers of people – and I still feel there’s much more we can do and achieve.
“Our standing in the community is ever-growing – but there is still so much work to do to win more support, do more good work in our community and reach more people who need our support.”
Andy added: “This unique place that we all call home never ceases to amaze me. I don’t believe anywhere else looks after its own people in their hours of need in the way we do. There’s a bond that ties us, beyond anything you’ll find elsewhere.
“I think that’s why the Philanthropic Foundation continues to go from strength to strength.”
Please keep on Fighting for Teesside Together.
